Speaking with my classmates helped me to develop more for my interview process. They helped me to see passed the pastor but to maybe interview the director to see her views on the topic. Also, I was worried because my pastors are away right now and I didn't get a reply. However, speaking with my classmates it helped me not to give up hope. So in the meantime I will work on how I will approach them.

In the interview protocol I noticed valuable information. I noticed to have background information on the participant. Also to get informed consent. That is important because of many reasons. One important reason is the safety of the name of the participant. He or she may say something and the audience may not like it. So that's why I would need to protect them.

My project isn't difficult for me to discuss because I am always at church. My family is also a part of the choir and so am I. I hear conversations about the change in service and song selection with the sermon. My plan is to interview someone who isn't a part of my family because I feel like it would be better to speak with someone I'm not common with.
My plan is to go to choir rehearsal and observe. Once I know the song selections I will also pay attention to what happens on Sunday morning.
